Booking & Safety Policy
Sail Timing & Tide Conditions, Waiver Requirement, Payments and Deposit.
Sailing is only possible during high tide. If your scheduled time does not align with high tide, we will work with you to adjust accordingly.
***All passengers must sign a waiver of liability before boarding.
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your rental date.
- In case of cancellation, your deposit can be used as credit for a future booking.
- A payment link will be sent to you once the rental agreement is signed. We accept all payment methods except checks.
***IMPORTANT: Booking dates are confirmed ONLY when the rental agreement and payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before your booking date.
Safety Policy
1. Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs)
- All passengers must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while on deck or when instructed by the captain or crew.
- Children under 12 are required to wear life jackets at all times while on the boat.
2. Safety Briefing
- A mandatory safety briefing will be conducted before departure. It will cover:
- Location of life jackets and safety equipment
- Procedures for man overboard, fire, and emergency evacuation
3. Weather Awareness
- Trips will be postponed or canceled in unsafe weather conditions (e.g., high winds, storms, rough seas).
- The captain will monitor weather forecasts continuously and may alter course or return to shore if necessary.
4. Behavior & Conduct
- No running or horseplay on the boat.
- Stay seated or hold a secure handhold when the boat is in motion.
- Follow all crew instructions promptly.
5. Alcohol & Drug Policy
- The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Alcohol consumption is allowed only in moderation and at the discretion of the captain. Intoxicated individuals may be denied boarding or asked to disembark.
6. Equipment & Fire Safety
- Do not tamper with or block access to safety equipment (fire extinguishers, life rafts, first-aid kits).
- Report any damaged or missing safety gear to the captain immediately.
7. Emergency Procedures
- In case of a fire, man overboard, or medical emergency, follow crew instructions and remain calm.
- Know the location of:
- Life jackets
- First-aid kits
- Fire extinguishers
- Emergency exits and muster stations
8. Environmental Responsibility
- Do not throw trash or objects overboard.
- Follow local and maritime regulations for wildlife and habitat protection.
9. Health & Medical Conditions
- Passengers must inform the captain or crew of any medical conditions or mobility limitations before departure.
- Bring necessary medications and inform someone on board about their location and usage.
10. Communication
- The captain or host will maintain a working marine radio and/or cell phone.
- Emergency contact numbers and procedures is clearly posted on the left side of the marine radio.
